A 16th Century country Inn, situated on the A264 between East Grinstead & Tunbridge Wells. 20 minutes from Gatwick airport, 4 miles from East Grinstead, 6 Miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells. Offering a warm & friendly welcome, an inviting & relaxed ambience. With oak beams, white linen tables, a fish tank in the floor!, log fires in the colder months & in the warmer weather our beautiful gardens have outstanding views of Ashdown Forest. Ideally situated for golfing or sight seeing breaks.

All our food is sourced locally, prepared & cooked to order. Traditional bar meals, light lunches, daily specials & snacks are served daily in the bar. The Gallery restaurant offers fine dining Monday - Saturday evenings, with Sunday lunches served each week in the restaurant & bar areas. Formally used as a luncheon stop for the horse drawn guards transporting prisoners from London to Lewes. Legend has it the Inn was also a courting venue for Henry VIII & Anne Boleyn.
